Intro Class:

90 minutes

  • 30 minute introduction to airbrush art history (background, relation to other mediums, examples of known artists who use airbrush, and introduction to the tools and equipment).

  • 30 minute demonstration by instructor. (beginner, intermediate, and advanced design demonstrations)

  • 10 minute review of techniques, and equipment usage and handling.

  • 10 minute painting workshop, with instructor observation.

  • 10 minute instruction on proper cleaning, and storage methods.


Beginner Class

~120 minutes

  • 20 minute review of introductory course.

  • 40 minute instruction on painting strokes, pressure trigger, paint colors, etc. 10-20 minute demonstration of beginner’s class art projects by instructor.

  • 30 minutes painting workshop with instructor observation and input.

  • 20 minute group critique and clean up.


Intermediate Class

2-Part ~90 minutes each Part 1

  • 20 minute review of previous course.

  • 10 minute lecture on the evolution of airbrush as an art form (background, relation to other

    mediums, examples of known artists who use airbrush, and introduction to the tools and

    equipment).

  • 30 minute demonstration of intermediate class art projects by instructor.

  • 20 minute group discussion, and clean up.

  • 10 minute

    Part 2

  • 10 minute set up and prep.

  • 40 minute painting workshop with instructor observation and input.

  • 10 minute advanced critique with instructor.

  • 30 minute presentation by Airbrush Las Vegas Team on the ins and outs of art as a

    business.

    A. EXTRA BONUS: Each intermediate class will feature a guest artist to present their works and inspiration etc. for 20-30 minutes after each course. (refreshments will be provided)
